# Session Summary
### The Letter
- Session begins on the sub ship, where they begin by exploring around the craft. Soon, the ship's instrumentation focuses in on an approaching paper airplane floating through the sky.
- They allow the airplane through the defense systems, and they read the message which is from Eleanor. Eleanor describes that she needs the party's help to handle a legal scenario, but she does not go into intimate detail.
- Parabellum utilizes the ship's technology to analyze the note and see if there is anything they can glean regarding the problem Eleanor is facing.
### The Gobblegeist Evaluation
- The party evaluates the creature trapped in their holds, and learns that there are about 24 hours of containment remaining.
- They use the instrumentation to learn about potential weaknesses of this beast, and they find that it is weak to representations of a seven pointed star.
- Louis makes depictions of this star all over the containment facility in hopes to prevent it from escaping, should the containment provisions eventually fail.
### The Drone Recon Phase
- The group turns further to the ship's instrumentation to send out some recon drones ahead to Wickermoor to learn more about what is going on there.
- The drones fly ahead and communicate back to the ship through video feed, and they see a number of people in a courtroom discussing the matter at hand.
- The drones resolve the evidence from the case, which seems to involve a situation where a student was the subject of some sort of an ancient ritual.
- Back on the ship the party goes through the evidence which seems dense, and spends some time discussing how to proceed.
- Essentially they gather that an ancient ritual was allegedly performed by the a local schoolteacher using baked goods supplied by the local baker. The ritual was performed incorrectly, resulting in one of the students being turned into a bun. Should the court fail to come to a resolution regarding who is at fault (the schoolteacher or the baker), ultimately Eleanor will take responsibility, as it was she who provided the document that the teacher used as a reference for performing the ritual in the first place. All of this is based on Wickermoor's arcane legal code.
### The Trial
- The group decides to proceed to Wickermoor, where they moor the boat on the river and proceed to the courthouse where the letter described that Eleanor could be found.
- Once they arrive, they learn that some of them will represent Finneas (the schoolteacher), some will represent Holly (the baker), and some will serve as the jury, who will eventually decide who should be held responsible.
- X69 and Mortimer will defend Fin, Bimbap and Seraphine will represent Holly, and Louis and Ember will serve as the jury.
- The group finds the involved parties interacting in one of the rooms in the court house, and they begin questioning them about what took place.
- The judge notices that, and quickly the trial and the questioning begins.
- X69 is very strong in his opening statements and questioning in the defense of Finneas, but Bimbap and Seraphine are up to the task and also articulate themselves admirably.
- The courtroom is far less orderly than the Judge is used to, but the trial continues until the involved parties ask for a recess.
