# Session Summary
#### The Party Returns to the Crimson Monastery
- Session starts with the party still hanging around Baba Yaga's swampy hut where Bimbap and Parabellum combine their alchemical skills with Baba Yaga's extensive laboratory resource to craft a number of fancy potions.
- Louis presents Seraphine with a ring of plant speech as she is perusing the garden for a selection of choice herbs and fungi. He mentions that it is a "token of his love and sexual desire".
- The party wraps up the swamp mission and returns to the crimson monastery, where Louis transfers the Lycar tattoo to Ember. Sticking the tattoo initiates the call immediately and he pretends not to know who he's speaking to.
- She returns the call by using her daily activation of the tattoo, and he seems perturbed, hanging up after telling her that he will talk to her when he is ready. Something is telling Ember that her actions could have led Lycar into the life of rebellion and strife.
- Ember flicks the bean to Lycar. Nice.
#### Newanda and Mortimer arrive on scene.
- As the party goes to depart the crimson monastery, they find Cromwell approaching with a familiar looking carriage that she evidently delivered here as a token of good faith in their business endeavors. She has a funny raspy voice on that sounds a lot like Lycar, and the party learns that there was some sort of interaction between them in the past. She explains that this is a new intimidating aspect of her persona that she plans to leverage as a means of intimidating her underlings. She also is going by a new name: Newanda.
- The party then gets into the carriage, where they find the remains of Oliver. Ember insists that he is still alive. There is doubt.
- On the way down to moonsong lake, the party encounters a hitchhiking man named Mortimer. He describes his accomplishments which seems extremely believable and legitimate.
- Bimbap is unsure of this guy, so he tries (and fails) to get him to partake in some drugs and alcohol, but Louis has Bimbaps back as a drinking buddy.
- Parabellum uses his dissolution to dissolve the body of Oliver before Louis can resuscitate him with the ribbon.
#### Parabellum Discovers an Ancient Submarine.
- Parabellum does some aerial recon to see if there is some sort of a watercraft that they can use to travel the river. He rolls extremely well and finds a Tomorrow Never Dies-esque sub/boat. The party acrobatically jumps in the water/aboard the boat before they proceed towards Wickermoor Village.
- Parabellum uses the boat's instrumentation to discover that a large flying creature seems to be in pursuit of one of the party members. It bears a striking resemblance to the one depicted in the prophecy painting (nice).
- Parabellum assigns each of the members of the group a role on the boat, and proceeds with the next course of action: down the flying turkey.
- Bimbap goes invisible with Parabellum's help before guiding a squadron of drones to perform more recon on the enemy beast.
- With the aid of his fellow officers, Parabellum executes operation Turkey Time with surgical precision. The drones swarm the beast, the blood rockets are fired, and the gobblegeist hits the water like the space shuttle challenger after exploding in the sky as the direct result of greedy managers insisting on proceeding despite qualified engineers repeatedly warning them of a high likelihood that critical o-rings sealing the solid rocket boosters would fail due to their inability to flex in cold temperatures (compounded by a poorly designed field joint) resulting in hot propellent gasses escaping through the field joint and eventually explosive failure of the rocket.
- The giant beast was recovered by sub drones and is currently being held and sedated in a large cell on the ship.
- The party believes that the gobblegeist is after gazza.
- Seraphine uses her powers to speak with the fishies in the water, who tell her that there is danger ahead, but that the ship will likely protect them.
- As the party is departing, the ship's instrumentation hones in on a familiar paper plane floating directly at their position....
