She picks dried leaves and selects ingredients from some of the many jars that crowd her many uneven shelves. She mutters to herself and notices again that you have not yet entered. > > "You won't find the answers you seek out there, you know." She says, before resuming her ritual. # Session Summary #### The Hunt for Lonely Linda's Grave - Session begins with the party in the swamp. First, Seraphine begins searching for the grave of Lonely Linda. - She uses animal friendship to speak with the worms in the dirt, and she asks them to guide her to a grave. Unfortunately, the worms are not great at distinguishing what treasure is, as it has no meaning to them, so this turns out to be fairly ineffective. - The worms eventually lead her to a grave where the party combines the power of their mage hands to dig the grave. When they get to the coffin, the grave is full of rocks. - Yaga eventually says that she can help if Seraphine wants, and the party then goes into the hut. #### Inside Yaga's Witch Hut - Meanwhile, Louis is chatting with Baba Yaga a bit, and he looks around. He finds a few different doors in the hut. - He opens the door that has no steam coming from the bottom, and sees a dark mirror on the other side. He touches the mirror and nearly gets his finger ripped off before committing and jumping through with Parabellum. - Bimbap and Parabellum are ejected from the hovel and appear in the palace of heart's desire, which is engulfed in flames. - A panicking Lycar and Tasha try to extinguish the flames and Lycar tells Louis that he has to stop Brick. - Parabellum realizes that he is in a monk body, and Louis is actually Grimble when in the palace. - They find out that Viraxys is somehow involved in this before getting sucked into the mirror. #### Baba Yaga's Coven - Yaga asks if they will join the coven, and Parabellum retorts by asking her to join HIS coven. - This debate eventually results in Yaga using her powerful magic to kill parabellum, taking him into an undead underworld where he shows him "the song". - During this interaction, parabellum successfully sows the seeds of doubt in Yaga's mind regarding his "coven", but she does not join just yet. - They return to the hut where she restores him to life (inspiration parabellum) - The party wishes to know more about the coven, so Yaga gives them a small tour, eventually disrobing before going into the steam room where they sit in a hot tub essentially. Her body seems strangely young and beautiful for how witchy she is otherwise. - They notice that there is a place set at the hot tub for seemingly nobody. - They agree to join the coven as long as Yaga agrees to some of their conditions, one of which is crafting a potion of sorts. Yaga agrees. - They participate in the ritual where they must call the new night-name of each other, and they step into the circle to complete the ritual. #### A Potion is Brewed - They learn about Yaga's garden and that Seraphine will be allowed to harvest to her liking as part of the coven and the creator of the door to this strange place. - They make the potion successfully, with yaga appearing to dissolve herself therein to complete the spell. #### Lonely Linda's Grave and Other Treasure is Found! - Seraphine connects with Yaga to find the grave of lonely linda, and she finds that she is being guided somewhere. - Seraphine is drawn to a place outside of the graveyard where she the party digs. She finds the treasure along with a doll that seems to have notes to Linda's husband. (900 gold) - Louis searches the hut for books about Viraxys and does find one.... - Louis also takes one of the fingers that adorns the shack. It's long and slender and black.
