# Session Start >*You crowd in the jarring cold of the windmill's cellar, and your senses begin to return.  Heavy smells invade >singed hair too close to a campfire, popcorn burnt and black, the sickening sweetness of cooking flesh >each visceral strand resolving far too tangibly as it untangles from soot packed into your sinuses.  The wipes of sticky sweat and carbon adorning your faces could be warpaint... or maybe part of some lost and ancient rite.* > >*Ash snows delicately through a column of silver moonlight that pours through the large hole in the ceiling onto Isaac's desecrated body.  His arms outstretched from his gaping torso.  His empty eyes fixed skyward above a mouth stretched into a silent scream forming a forbidden mask that impossibly captures some holy liminal moment that was not meant to be witnessed by the living.* > >*Pops and crackles of the dying fire punctuate an eerie silence and you wonder how the problem you came here to fix could have progressed into this.  You wonder what could have drawn the rest of the village from their duties in this time of need when you hear a muffled yell in the distance.  It sounds like someone... saying something repeatedly... a woman... she's saying "MAKE THE CORN" "MAAAKE THE CORN!!!",   "MAKE THE CORN!!"* # Session Summary - They discover the banjo leaning on the outside of the foundation of the windmill! HOW DID I MISTAKE THIS IN MY NOTES?! - They restore isaac with the green ribbon and he then goes out and tries to talk to his mom while she is in there banging - 38/100 - cletus goes back to the menage, while ember soothes Isaac. - Seraphine feeds some mushrooms to Isaac after he says he's hungry (baby bird method - this is important). - William Lodge, Seraphine, and Parabellum search the town hall for records, and find that about when Jonah stopped buying cattle from William is around when the crops began to fail. - Cletus and Louis search Adelaide's bedroom, but all they find are unhinged drawings about the corn and secrets that she's stealing. - seraphine releases her fishy hormones in an effort to seduce william - apparently this is known as "vabbing" - willaim basically falls in love with seraphine after being seduced by him, this is epic they learn: - somehting is here and a bargain has been made. - the answers are in the corn. - Bimbap follows Jonah back to the butcher, where he makes conversation before he plans to go to the corn. - Bimbap presents the idea to tie him up to a rope and send him in there, which Jonah likes - When coming out from the back room, Bimbap notices something off, and asks if there is something in there. Jonah breaks down, revealing the ritual that took place to curse the other crops and William Lodge. He obviously feels terrible about this. - WHen they're leaving, Bimbap mentions the curse in passing to the other members of the party, but Jonah notices. He is about to run away when Bimbap delivers an excellent heartfelt message that they are trying to forgive him for what he has done. a "lumpy bale of hay" and all that. This is 10/10! Jonah breaks down here and asks that they take him away from this land. - In an emotional moment, Bimbap leaves jonah there for a bit while formulating a plan with the rest of the party. - Jonah proposes that they just check near the edge of the corn to see what might happen. No commitment to entering at this moment in time. They do this, and they hear the terrible voice of RAUM asking for their secrets.
