# Session Summary
After spending the better part of two days traveling, the party arrives at a burning Fox Willow, and hurries to help William Lodge save what remains of the town. Ember and Parabellum combine their efforts to extract Jonah and Liza (in some form) through a breach in the roof that Parabellum created using his dissolution, while Louis and Cletus do what they can to put out the fires at the general store and town hall, being attacked by townsfolk who seem to be twisted into a painted pumpkinlike form in the process.
Once free from the burning windmill, Jonah apologizes to Martha for punching him in the face in the middle of town square and calling Adelaide a creep and a killer. Martha accepts the apology, and for a moment it appears that the townsfolk have settled down and stopped attacking. Their forms somehow appear less twisted than before.
Jonah and William continue the fight against the fires raging through the small town, and Parabellum takes over for Jonah, relieving him of his duty and providing him a moment to embrace the webby, exhausted form of his daughter. There is a deep sense of appreciation shared between the two of them.
While Cletus follows Martha and William to the Hooded Lantern, the rest of the party begins searching through the charred remains of the windmill.
Ember opens the door and interacts with a ravencraft that was scratching on it, and surprisingly, the ravencraft seems to identify with her, becoming her familiar.
All but Cletus enter the basement of the ruins to see the remains of Isaac lying there. They dispatch the crow-like minions that seem to be lying in wait with relative ease, and pry the crumpled note from his rigored hand to reveal that Adelaide, his sister, baited him down into the basement.
Meanwhile, Cletus gets busy with William and Martha "making the corn".
